These are the recordings of a 3-Day intensive workshop to create original creature designs.

DAY 3: On the final day of the workshop, we’ll export the creature concept form ZBrush and bring it into Substance 3D Painter to bake the mesh maps and start the texturing process. The videos from Day 3 of the workshop cover the general workflow to create complex textures and tips and tricks to mix organic materials.

This video covers a simple way to export assets from ZBrush and import the into Substance 3D Painter. I cover how to create automatic UVs at the time of import (keep in mind you can create really nice and clean UVs in ZBrush or other apps before exporting, but the purpose of this workshop is to stay away from any technicality so this process is ideal for that and it works).
