Our April Lunch and Learn Prop day program featured Indiana Author, Sandra Hurt. Sandra has studied and traveled extensively and sat upon the ancient stone floor in the Villa of the Mysteries in Pompeii where, on the wall above her, was the haunting portrait of the beautiful young woman who inspired her book.

Sandra Hurt lives in Carmel IN with her husband, Stan. Over the last thirty years, she has studied Jungian Psychology and the Classics. Her many research trips in Italy and Greece have allowed her to work with art historians and archaeologists, giving her a rich education and love for all things related to women in the ancient world. Priestess of Pompeii, The Initiate’s Journey is her first novel and she is currently working on the second book in the series.
