I'm born and raised in Colorado and have yet to ride my state's premiere bikepacking trail...until now! The Colorado Trail is 540 miles (867km), has 72k feet (22k meters) of vertical gain, and travels from Denver to Durango. In this video, I ride segments 7 & 8 of the CT, struggle up the incredibly steep and loose rock trail to Peak 5, up and over Searle and Kokomo passes, and into Camp Hale where I have a spiritual reunion with the10th Mountain Division.
