HPL Part 1: How to Cut, Glue and Trimming

HPL is a type of thick paper with a wood texture and motif that is glued to processed wood such as particle board, MDF or blockboard. The HPL production process is by gluing it through high pressure and heat so that it is available in sheet form and large sizes.

HPL has the advantage of a cleaner workmanship than using duco paint or sanding, because this material is glued to multiplex. For furniture craftsmen and multiplex furniture, this material has the advantage of being clean and fast.
HPL has an 'edging' product variant that makes it easier to work on furniture on thin edges.
The process is quite practical (without finishing the sprayer), it's easy and the process is faster.
Lower costs and fees
Furniture that uses HPL finishing does not require a special finishing craftsman, just a carpenter.
The color and motif of the furniture will be the same, there is no risk of streaking like if you use duco paint finishing.
There are many types, ranging from wood motifs, solid colors, metallic, to motifs such as marble and granite.
The use of HPL is faster than finishing spray.
Suitable for furniture with a modern and minimalist look.
Cleaner in application.
Better resistance to heat, scratches, chemicals.
Relatively cheaper.
