Welcome aboard Singapore Airlines SQ242, an Airbus A350-900 in Business Class from Sydney (SYD) to Singapore (SIN). Departing from Sydney's Terminal 1, we experienced seamless check-in and explored the SilverKris Lounge, offering a cozy atmosphere and a decent selection of refreshments despite some overcrowding.

Onboard, the spacious cabin featured a 1-2-1 seat configuration with direct aisle access and ample storage, though the footwell was slightly cramped. The flight was delayed but offered excellent service and amenities, including a luxurious seat with 18" HD touchscreen for entertainment (despite minor technical glitches), and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Dining was a highlight with a delightful chicken Caesar salad, perfectly grilled beef fillet, and a refreshing lychee mango tart. The crew provided attentive service, including turndown service for a comfortable sleep. Penhaligon’s amenities in the lavatory added a touch of luxury.
