At the end of the 1960s, the Siku company started producing Mercedes 406 models. This type of body was very popular among young customers, which is why several versions of this model were created. Today I am presenting a repair truck with a boom that I managed to buy at a flea market almost a year ago. In the renovation, I focused mainly on restoring full functionality of the boom, which is made of plastic elements. I had to use an innovative method of strengthening the plastic to prevent the boom from falling down on its own. I also chose one of the darker shades of orange paint that this model was painted with and provided the whole thing with a copied original packaging.
