Corgi produced gift set number 36 from 1967 to 1971. Currently, set no. 36 is very sought after among collectors and its prices well exceed $200. I created my set from parts I bought at flea markets. The last thing I managed to buy was a boat, which is a very rare item on the secondary market. My Oldsmobil Toronado was missing many parts and other original parts were damaged. Repairing and replenishing these things took up a lot of my time with this renovation. In the video I show how, for example, to make parts if they are not available on the secondary market. To complete the whole thing, I also made the box in which this set was sold. I replaced the Styrofoam insert with an insert made of white polyurethane foam, which serves its purpose equally well.
