We check out a Honda EB3800x Generator that a customer brings in because he says it will not start. We are able to get it started but it will not run off choke.

Based on the bad shape the carburetor is in we decide to replace it instead of rebuilding it.

This is a super common carburetor and is readily available online at all times. If you need to clean the carburetor see one of our other videos for a full cleaning process.

If you replace the carburetor, be sure to check and clean the new carburetor because the quality control is not good. This does not matter if you are using an OEM or aftermarket replacement. We did this off camera and I forgot to mention it during the video
