We visited this property last year, for the first time. As it turned out, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back to the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort again in 2024.

In this video you will get a street level view of this huge resort property. When I say huge, I mean the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is a massively large property, spanning 2,400 acres. It is setup in three (maybe four) parts. Bayside, Beachside, and Lakeside (And the Village).

If you stay on "Lakeside", you will be close to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, which is great family fun. Lots to do for little ones, and good restaurants and bars for the adults. I recommend Slick Lips, Hammerheads, and for a more upscale place, Poppy;s Crazy Lobster. We had first-class service, excellent food, and an overall exceptional experience at the Crazy Lobster (but its not cheap). If you want an expensive bottle of wine, they'll have it. Something not on the menu for the littles, they will get it. Its that kind of place. We enjoy being spoiled some times.

If you stay on the "Beachside", you are pretty much ocean front. There are a ton of properties there to choose from, and from the looks of it, you cant pick a wrong place. We might try this side next year. If we do, there will surely be a video of our condo, etc.

If you stay on the "Bayside" it's a bit more quiet, in my opinion. It has golf, and I think the Bayside Convention Center is here, too. This property is not close to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, but there is shuttle service. It is however, across the main highway (98) from the Ocean (Beachside Property).

Be sure to have lunch at the Marina Bar and Grill. The bar isn't fancy, but the boats (Yachts) that visit, are! We enjoyed the service at this place, and our food/drinks were perfect. Sitting out on the HUGE patio gives the best view of the boats coming in and out.

Overall, the purpose of this vide, part one of two, is to give an actual street level view of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort properties, so you can see where you might be staying, or would like to stay.

But remember, any property you choose, you will have a great time. Its that nice, all the way around.

We rented our property through My Vacation Haven, both years, but there are many vacation rental organizations that offer property rental here.
