In this video, we take a short walk exploring Mow Cop Castle (Folly), Cheshire. Interesting facts about this site include its long ownership and its purpose as a summerhouse (1754), quarrying activities (1923) and its connection to Primitive Methodism in 1807. The National Trust has looked after this site since 1937. A very beautiful area, with stunning 360 views of the surrounding areas. A section of the Gritstone Trail also passes through this unique area of Cheshire.
Sorry, not sorry about scalding those for littering, whether it's disposable BBQs, cigarette butts, glass bottles or dog poo bags. We all have a duty of care to protect these magnificent areas of natural beauty, not only for ourselves but for future generations too.
