Baklava is a very popular dessert in Turkey, Iran and also in many parts of the Arab world and Central Asia. It is a layered pastry dessert made with filo dough and filled with chopped nuts and sugary syrup or honey. It is extremely sweet and the texture is flaky.
Turkish delight or Lokum is a type of candy which has a soft squishy texture. It often contains chopped pistachios, dates, walnuts and hazelnuts bound by gel of starch and sugar and coated with generous amount of powdered sugar on the outside.

Hafiz Mustafa is a very popular and famous confectioner in Istanbul. It has it's history which dates back to 1864 when it was established by Hadji İsmail Hakkı Bey during the reign of Sultan Abdulaziz Khan. And then it was taken over by his son, Hafız Mustafa.
