I wanted to share my experience of how I used the Harbor Freight 12 Ton Pipe Bender to successful bend 1" Diameter Aluminum 6061T6 Schedule 40 Pipe.

I couldn't find a video that was very helpful or showed anyone successfully bending aluminum pipe without kinking it with the HF Pipe Bender.

Disclaimer: This is my first video posted to Youtube so please excuse the novice editing skills. This is not a tutorial, it's simply an explanation of what worked for me.

I can't say it will work for everyone but I at least wanted to share my experience using the tools. The bends turned out nice and smooth without kinks in the pipe. It's not the most precise tool for the job but at a fraction of the cost of a true tubing bender I was able to save a ton of money to get my project done.

Below is a link to the Harbor Freight Tools I used and I purchased the 1" 6061T6 Aluminum Schedule 40 Pipe from my local Metal Supermarkets here in Norfolk, VA.
