I bought the 12 ton Harbor Freight pipe and tube bender to build go karts and minibikes and whatever else I could think of(Stainless handrail for the stairs?) and spent a few hours with scrap pipe experimenting to find out what worked best. I tried different metals with heat, springs and sand and before learning the trick to nice bends.
