As a huge One Piece and Anime fan, I was extremely skeptical when a Live Action show was announced through Netflix, but I tried to keep an open mind. Years later, and little did I expect to find Netflix's One Piece to be one of the best Live Action Adaptations in a long time. Today, I'm giving my thoughts on Netflix's live action adaptation of One Piece!!

Adaptations are hard to make. There's a lot of risk with hardcore fans making matters worse with every little deviation taken by creatives. For those looking to take on the creative side of media, it's always a good idea to study the work done by others. And for those aspiring to some day adapt their favorite comic or game to the screen, Netflix's One Piece is a great place to look for an Adaptation Done Right.

While there's some hurdles, and story choices I ultimately disagree with, I have to give credit where its do. The handling of the Straw Hat crew, recurring favorites like Garp, Buggy, and Koby, and many more are brought over in exciting and fresh ways; all while keeping the same heart as the Anime and Manga by Eiichiro Oda.
