लोकसभा चुनाव नतीजों का विश्लेषण अलग अलग तरह से हो रहा है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के विरोधी बहुत खुश हैं कि भाजपा को 240 पर रोक दिया । उनके अनुसार इससे देश में जनतंत्र की रक्षा हो गई। यानी एक स्पष्ट बहुमत से चुनी हुई सरकार का सत्ता में होना उनके लिए जनतंत्र के लिए ख़तरा है। यह मानसिकता ही जनतंत्र विरोधी है जो अपने विरोधी विचार वाले को मिले जनादेश को स्वीकार करने को ही तैयार नहीं है। उनको न चाहने पर भी नरेन्द्र मोदी लगातार तीसरी बार देश के प्रधानमंत्री बन गए हैं। मोदी विरोधियों के लिए भागते भूत की लँगोटी ही सही वाली कहावत चरितार्थ हो रही है। उन्हें लग रहा है कि मोदी को सत्ता में आने से तो नहीं रोक पाए लेकिन सीटें तो कम कर दीं । इसी को वे अपनी जीत मान रहे हैं ।
