As a stage 4 metastatic melanoma patient who has been battling the disease for the last 6 years, I've dealt with a lot of weird times in my life.

Today is one of the weirder days in that time span - I know that I will get PET scan results that drastically change my life, and I'm legitimately unsure about how they will turn out. In my previous diagnoses, I've had relatively sure feelings about good/bad scans, and the symptoms have been present. This has seemed like more of a mental hangup that I have around 1 symptom that is similar to my prior recurrence... but it's been hell to live with for 2 months, and I believe the fear is warranted.

My goal in making stage 4 cancer vlogs was to show people - especially other patients and their loved ones - the real human element of what living with a diagnosis is like. I think this vlog captures it well.
