Indonesia takes the top spot in British comparison service money.co.uk's Natural Beauty Report, which ranks 50 countries around the world based on the number of natural attractions they have for every 100,000 square kilometers. With a score of 7.77 out of 10, the report states that Indonesia is “home to an incredible 17,000 islands, which means it has more than 50,000 km of coastline” and “more than 50,000 square km of coral reefs, teeming with life”. Published on February 7, the report also notes that Indonesia's tropical forests in Kalimantan and Sumatra are among its “most popular natural tourist attractions” and are home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
