This time on Films N That we are look at the space cowboy anime Cowboy Bebop. The show follows 4 bounty hunters, Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Edward as they travel the solar system hunting down criminals in exchange for reward money. They never seem that successful however, opting to take the moral high-ground in situations rather than exploiting people for money. The main draw to Cowboy Bebop for me is how much it takes reality into account, the show prefers to follow unimportant people with real world struggles rather than the end of the world or giant robots fighting… like some anime does.
