I had the opportunity to introduce my older brother to Indonesian food in the state of Texas. His favorite dish was nasi padang. Nasi padang just happens to be my favorite dish in Indonesia. We also tried nasi kuning and gado gado. Both of those dishes were not as tasty as when you try them in Indonesia.

Indonesian food has so many spices and a variety of flavors. The nasi kuning and the gado-gado were tasty but they both lacked their normal flavors. Overall the food was pretty good.
