Recipe: Avocado Egg Toast

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cube of butter
- 1 ripe avocado
- boiled or poached, or scrambled egg
- Salt and pepper

Instructions:

1. Toast the Bread:
- Add butter in a skillet
- Toast the bread over medium heat or in a toaster until golden brown and crispy

2. Prepare the Avocado:
- While the bread is toasting, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl
- Mash the avocado until smooth or to your desired consistency
- Season the mashed avocado with a pinch of salt and pepper

3. Cook the Egg:
- Choose your preferred style: boiled, poached, or scrambled
- If boiled, cook the egg to your liking (soft, medium, or hard-boiled)
- If poached, bring a pot of water to a simmer, add a splash of vinegar, and gently slide in the egg, cooking for about 3-4 minutes for a runny yolk
- For scrambled, whisk the egg in a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until soft and fluffy

4. Assemble the Toast:
- Spread the seasoned mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread
- Place the prepared egg on top of the avocado spread

5. Season and Serve:
- Sprinkle a little more salt and pepper over the top if desired
- Serve immediately and enjoy the healthy avocado egg toast!
