Laolu is a Nigerian-bred, Brooklyn-based artist, activist, and attorney who has made the world his canvas by painting on clothes, walls, and the human body. His work features distinct patterns and story-rich designs that draw heavily on his Yoruba heritage and ancient Nigerian symbols. In recent years, he's become a well-known figure in pop culture and the art world, working with Angelique Kidjo, Kenneth Cole, Alicia Keys, Usher, and, most famously, Beyoncé's 'Lemonade' album, where his body art is featured throughout.
