424 W 47th St aka The Ecoliving House had 4 light wells in the core of the building, allowing us to achieve the bedroom density required to make coliving work. But it created another problem- super dark rooms in the lower floors. To address this, we did a few things to create our own artificial sunlight in these rooms, as well as redirect natural sunlight into rooms that wouldn't otherwise get it
This was actually a very cost effective DIY project that came out to just under $2k in materials. Let us know in the comments if you'd like to find out more details!
