The mission was simple. Get some Rainbows on the fly rod. With that in mind the closest river or stream that offers trout fishing this time of year is the Lower Mountain Fork in south eastern Oklahoma. The three and a half hour drive to Beaver Bend State Park is more that worth it. Come along as we get on the first Rainbow trout caught with and fly pole on the channel.
