Accepting the challenge to paint more impressionistically has been difficult! But I think I've finally found an oil painting process that helps me get closer to my goals. I'll be sharing how I painted the second oil portrait in this series. I'll give a step by step guide of what goes through my head when painting and the general process I follow. We'll also make trips to the art store for new supplies and to the library to find books on Impressionism painting and the art of the still life.
