Korean War Veteran Sergeant First Class Ernesto Sanchez recounts a time in which his unit took friendly fire via napalm bombs and artillery rounds due to Chinese and Korean forces taking over his bunker. Mr. Sanchez also explains a moment in which he used Spanish to safely speak with his friend so that the enemy could not understand them. He also describes encounters with Korean prisoners, refugees, and enemy soldiers. Combat, interrogation, and the harsh realities of war are also topics Mr. Sanchez delves into.
