The day before her wedding, while trying on her wedding dress, Marie finds a bloody seagull in her veil... Frozen by the horror of this vision, she decides to erase it with a good night's sleep. But Marie is prey to terrible nightmares, reminiscent of childhood night terrors... The next day at first light, while she is running along the cliffs of Ty Kern, her eye is drawn below by seagulls gathered on a body... that of her other brother Gildas.
