Located just 40 minutes outside Phoenix Arizona I couldn't imagine a better spot when visiting a major metropolitan area. Not too far from the city in case you want to enjoy Phoenix. And far enough away if you're looking for the Phoenix weather without the hustle and bustle. Plus look at that view! Great day hiking, great facilities and because it's a state park, inexpensive.
