In 2006, Ilse Kumpitsch experienced pain in her jaw when opening and moving it. The pain intensified to the degree, that she could not even take a bite from a sandwich. Her condition did not better despite visiting several orthopedists, therapists, and clinics. The diagnosis was chronic craniomandibular dysfunction. The condition persisted for more than five years. Finally, in 2011, she was so desperate that in her mind she called Bruno Groening for help. Three weeks after this heartfelt request, she was visiting a friend and was surprised to find that she was no longer in pain and could eat and chew without problems. Since then, all the pain and restrictions that had plagued her for five years have disappeared.
