Demon Slayer, the biggest shonen anime in Japan from the past 10 years, has been slowly, but surely progressing its story through multiple seasons. In an effort to stretch Demon Slayer out, a lot of padding has been added to various arcs to increase run time. Demon Slayer Season 3, which revolved around the Swordsmith Village, was notorious for doing this. When I heard Demon Slayer Season 4 was coming out with an entire season dedicated to Hashira Training, I had my doubts. After all, the Hashira Training arc was a quick training arc that many found boring as Tanjiro did a speedrun of mastering Hashira teachings. However, in the anime, this arc was given a lot more time to breathe and was honestly elevated. I know a lot of people were bored with this season since it did involve a lot of slice of life shenanigans, but once Infinity Fortress begins, I think those same people are gonna be missing the Hashira Training Arc. This season was excellent for setting up the final battle...if only it wasn't split into 3 movies.
