As we've mentioned in previous videos, small species, in particular large versions of small species, rank very highly in our prized fish list, and the Dace is one of these small species that we love to target, especially when there is the chance of a proper specimen.

In this latest episode of Angling 360, we target the 'Silver Dart' on a Scottish river that is renowned to hold huge Dace; perhaps even a Scottish, if not British record shaking fish.

This was never planned to be a long session, but more of a recce to a new river in an attempt to suss out the potential, and as it turned out, this is a river we will definitely be returning to... Hopefully with sharper reflexes.
