In summary, the new Filson Ombre Jac-Shirt is one of the heaviest and thickest Jac-shirts produced by Filson. It offers superior warmth and wears more like a jacket.

Cons: the wool is a bit course and scratchy.

Comparison shopper’s note: the limited run Yukon Wool Jac-shirt is considerably softer than the Ombre Jac-Shirt, but it does not contain hand-warmer pockets. However, the new Mackinaw Jac-Shirt does contain hand-warmer pockets. It is also lined, has better chest pockets and snap closures throughout.
