This video is about the end period or last days of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar ( ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর ) at Karmatanr ( কর্মাটাঁড় ) or Karmatar ( কার্মাটার / কারমাটার ) of Jharkhand ( কার্মাটাঁড়ে বিদ্যাসাগর ). Last part of Vidyasagar life story is ,to tell the truth, too much shocking to us.

In 1873, leaving the then Calcutta, Vidyasagar stepped at Karmatanr in order to spend the rest period of his life. He was then 53 years old. The major population of Karmatanr was the adivasi people of Santal Tribe. Vidyasagar got a peaceful life with the company of these simple , innocent adivasi people. There he started many social works for the betterment of those people. Adivasi community considered him as their living God. Vidyasagar spent there most of his las 17 years period from 1873 to 1890. On 29 July, 1891 Vidyasagar left this planet forever.
