There was a man who had three sons, and the youngest was considered very silly. Everyone mocked and made fun of him. One day, the eldest son decided to go into the forest to cut wood. As he entered the forest, he met a gray old man who greeted him and asked for a piece of cake and a drop of wine, as he was very hungry and thirsty.

However, the eldest son refused to share his cake and wine. He began cutting down a tree, but soon made a mistake, and the axe slipped out of his hand, cutting his arm badly. He had to go home for treatment.
