Shah Safi valley is the name of a beautiful and pleasant valley 20 km southwest of Dehaqan, located 120 km southwest of Isfahan city. The name of this valley goes back to Shah Safi, one of the Safavid sultans, who, according to a saying, made this beautiful area his throne and hunting ground. Of course, there was an old inscription next to the waterfall confirming this, which was unfortunately destroyed by some ignorant people a few years ago. The cool and pleasant weather, the presence of roaring springs and waterfalls, old and green trees, and rich and colorful flowers and meadows in spring and summer have made this area one of the tourist destinations of Isfahan province.
