The recipe comes from an amazing E-cookbook that my family and I have been enjoying. I do not usually buy ebooks since we do not have electronic devices besides 1 computer. I have all my cookbooks/ebooks printed and bound like a book when I do. That is what I did with this one. I am not affiliated with Ellen Fisher in anyway, I bought the book with my own money. and paid to have it bound like a book with my own money. Ingredients:
2 1/2 C boiling water (I used 3 cups)
8 medjool dates pitted (I used 9)
1 tsp vanilla extract (I skip this step since the kids prefer it without)
2 heaping Tbsp cacao powder
Optional: 1/2 C plant milk (I used 3/4 C), if not using plant milk add in 1/2 C more of boiling water.
