This is by far our favorite granola bar. I have made several variations of this. I have made it with chocolate chips, raisins, chia, flax, coco powder, cinnamon, the list goes on and on. You get the idea:) If you want a crunchier bar just bake a little longer. As always I double the recipe and it seems that I still need to make more. The kids gobble these up so fast. These were perfect for our last camping trip.
Here are the ingredients to the original recipe:
1 C quick oats
3 T agave
3 T apple sauce
1/2 t vanilla extract
2 T chocolate chips (vegan)
1 or 2 T or raw sugar (optional)
Bake at 325 for 15-20 min, let cool before cutting
