Promo trailer for guest speaker Makana Kāne Kuahiwinui on radio talk show "Tani's World" this Monday, Aug 10 from 10AM to noon as she discusses her Master's thesis topic: Hawaiian cultural practices having to do with menses, including historical perceptions and values, cultural mores, body perception and the onset of Western values and its effects on this most basic of female functions.

The last 12 plus minutes of the video is a recording of the show on Aug 3 with guest speaker Jennifer Waipa as she and host Tani Waipa discuss Hawai'i's first mentor musician Henry Berger. The Royal Hawaiian Band's first conductor and founder of the Honolulu Symphony, Mr. Berger was so loved by Hawai'i's last queen, Liliuokalani, that she desired his birthday become a national Hawaiian holiday.
