Wrath of Hamunaptra is a new single by my side project, Neath the Abyss. Although NTA is generally more experimental than my other metal acts, this song is true to the deathcore cadence. The lyrics are inspired by The Mummy, particularly Imhotep's resurrection, and features an audio clip taken from the movie, when Evie (Rachel Weisz) reads from the fabled Book of the Dead, inadvertently resurrecting Imhotep.
