The 2nd Annual Golden Con took place in Chicago in 2023. I went along with my friend to help her booth, Heck Yes Ya'll.

This is by no means a comprehensive overview, nor is it a review of the convention (which I may do at a later time, separately in a different video). This is more live, in the moment things when we had some free time between customers. While I did get to do something, working the event meant I did not get to do everything. I will say overall, this year had some major differences from last year- not all positive.

In 2017 her solo-show, “18 days. 48 girls.” earned NYC’s Off-Broadway Frigid Festival Audience Choice Award for best show and she performs all around New York City. Her storytelling has been featured on The Moth Radio Hour and Podcast and one of Conde Nests stories of the year 2018. She hosts a sold out Golden Girls Bingo at Housing Works Bookstore & Café- the only interactive game of its kind. Her writing can be found in Grok Nation, Gold Comedy, Nerdist and The A.V. Club and more.
