On the 4th and final day of this hike in the Great Smoky Mountains, after camping with new friends at Smokemont campground, they decide to hike with me on the Oconaluftee River Trail.

At only 1.5 miles (3 miles if out and back), the crew & I stage my truck at the end of the trail to auttle us back to the start – Oconaluftee Vistors’ Center.

It was nice getting to hike the river trail with my new friends , ‪@Packsalot‬ , ‪@JenniferLupine‬ , & ‪@unpavedexplorer338‬ !
