In June, I got the opportunity to hike the Ramsey Cascades Trail in the Greenbrier area of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park while on a family vacation. This trail is an out & back hike of 8 round trip miles. There are no camping areas on this trail, so it had to be a day-hike and I wasn't sure when I would get a chance to hike it as I continue in my attempt to hike all 900 miles of trails in the Park.
