This is the all new Aston Martin DB12. It is the replacement model for the DB11. It is also one of the least expensive British supercars out there right now. There is also a DB12 Volante model with an opening rooftop.



First, let’s talk about the power. It has 671 hp from a 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 engine that was inside the Aston Martin DBX, and some of the Mercedes AMG models in the past (it is not in anymore AMG models anymore except the S63, but will return in the E63 and C63 as of 2026). Aston Martin claims that this car can do 0-100 km/h (0-60mph) in 3.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).


For track use, you get some serious racing tires, named the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 Performance tires, which increases handling and performance around a track. You also get an electronic rear differential which can control itself for track use. With a sleek front to rear design, you will also be able to go to a faster speed at a faster time with the air not blocking the vehicle.


Inside the interior, you get a new digital screen on the driver’s side, something you did not have on that much other Aston models until now. You will also get a 5 inch screen in the middle, with Apple CarPlay, which I don’t recommend using, mainly because of the small screen. You also get standard Aston Martin designed seats with the Aston Martin logo on the headrest.



On the exterior, you will get a very similar design to all the other Aston models mostly in the past. You get new headlights and taillights that have a similar kind of shape as the DB11. The rear lights also have a relation to the old Vantage from Aston. You will also get wheels that get both a luxury and sporty look to it. Lastly, you will get the same twin exhaust with one on each side, matching the exhaust style with the DBX, Vantage, and a lot of other Aston models.


Pricing of the new DB12 will start at around at least $300,000 CAD (over $200,000 USD). Those pricing figures are estimated. The DB12 was set to start production in the third quarter of 2023 (July 2023 to September 2023) with deliveries that took place in the fourth quarter of the same year (October 2023 to December 2023).
