Coop Helldive, Max Difficulty Lvl 9, all objectives (Main + Optional) completed, all nests destroyed, no deaths
Modifiers: Complex Stratagem Plotting (Call-in Time +50%), Shrieker Patrols, Rainstorms
Planet: Gacrux
Patch version: 1.000.404

Boy oh boy this was a fun one, those Behemoths and Titans were pouring out the woodwork for a Spearing! The Spear fixes have now truly let it shine as a heavykiller, and this build has shot up to be one of my favourites for the Terminids.

I'll be testing out the Commando today, but I got this and a couple more runs from the past couple days to push out first.

Big thanks to my teammates ‪@originalSPECTER‬, diabolical_frog, and TUnforgotten for this one.

Build:

The Spear has always been excellent for Titans - for best results, take your shot while the BT is facing you directly, which will make the one-headshot kill much more reliable. Same goes for Chargers - this works particularly well on Charger Behemoths which would otherwise take 2 Recoiless / EATs / Quasar headshots for the kill. Since results are most reliable with some distance, Stun nades are very useful to let you gain some distance, though you can also do close range shots by getting the lock, then crouching and aiming low with your character - likewise you can arc your shots left or right by diving or lying prone and tilting your aim, which tilts the barrel more.

I didn't use it this time, but I've found if your Spear hits them in the body instead of the head, you can easily finish them off with a Strafing Run, with its plentiful 5 charges.

Instead, I've gone for both the Gatling and MG Sentries, which excel at trash clear as well as the Shrieker patrols we've got on this mission. With the reduced cooldown on the MG sentry, and cooldowns starting when you deploy thje turrets, not when they die, you'll almost always have one of these turrets up if you stagger your deployments - for maximum uptime, you should start with the MG sentry, then follow it up with the Gatling, and by the time the Gatling is done the MG sentry should be back again. Just make sure to keep those sentries protected with your Stun nades!

Orbital Precision Strike rounds out the build, its short call-in time meaning its affected little by the call-in penalty modifier, and its fast cooldown meaning I can use it freely for Titan / Charger one-shots, AOE kills on crowds, or taking out nests and structures.

For my primary, I'm taking the Adjudicator, its AP dealing well with medium armour enemies as well as chaff - the recoil reduction armours help keep its kick under control. The Grenade Pistol means I always have an option for bug holes - far more ammo efficient than using Spear shots for them.
