One of our Overtures assembled by Seamus Egan and Maeve Gilchrist. This one particularly strong. Windborne sing Personent Hodie, Hannah Rarity is incorporated with the Wexford Carol, and of course spectacular dancing from Liam Harney's Academy of Irish Dance in Walpole. These overtures are designed carefully to explore themes that will be revisited in the show, and to introduce many of the featured players, in this case, Seamus and Maeve, The Fretless, Windorne, and Hannah Rarity of course in addition to Natalie Haas, Owen Marshall, Chico Huff, and Ben Wittman. Oh, and almost forgot, the inimitable Brenda Castles on Concertina.
