Savannah Marshall is the undisputed super middleweight champion and is the only boxer alive who has defeated Claressa Shields. But on June 8 in Newcastle, England, Marshall will make her pro MMA debut against Mirela Vargas.

Marshall has beaten Shields in the amateurs, but lost to her in a middleweight title bout. Shields has signed with the PFL so Marshall signed with the PFL in a bid to get a bout with her in mixed martial arts.

Marshall discusses the transition to MMA and what she expects in her boxing career.
