The Californian Coast Ride -- a spectacular four day ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles -- has been on my calendar each of the past seven years. With record rain hitting the state, we moved things west and went to Hawaii for the week.

So this ride is a "coast ride" of sorts, just around the entire state of Maui! With long stretches of time without support or rest stops, we loaded up handlebar bags and pockets for this 170 mile all-day jaunt of the island.

Here's the whole enchilada:   / strava

Bike: Cannondale SuperSix EVO SE
Wheels: Zipp Firecrest 303
Tires: Rene Herse Snoqualmie Pass 700x44
Drivetrain: SRAM Red AXS 46t front, 10-50 rear
Moosepacks: handlebar bag XL
Nutrition: UnTapped Mapleaid, waffles, syrup. Plus a Reese Peanut Butter cup.

Kit: Velocio Concept Radiator jersey + Ultralight Utility bib shorts
