I made a segmented bowl with dovetail joints. Then added a lid
I made this turning with segments that had a dovetail joint in each of the 48 segments. It is made with Walnut, Maple and a Black Locust Burl.
I cut the dovetails on my CNC milling machine which made it easy to do.
Not the normal way to make segments but it worked great.

I used food safe listed products on the inside.

Finish's used:
Minwax Wipe on Poly, General Finishes Wood Bowl Finish.
Acks Abrasive Paste and Acks Polish/Restoring Paste
