We only had three full days in St. John and (2) days of travel but we made the most of our time and savored every minute. It had rained much of the week prior to our arrival, and the week after our departure - but we were fortunate that we experienced perfectly gorgeous weather during our stay. We arrived with no planned itinerary, but we did have a bucket list – as follows; Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay, Hansen Bay, Hawksnest Bay, Peach Hill, The Windmill Bar.
Every beach was stunning on the island paradise, but if we had to pick our two favorites (because we could not bring ourselves to pick only one) it would have to be Maho Bay and (a surprise) Hansen Bay. Maho for its shear unspoiled nature/tranquility and Hansen for having that “local” feel (and Hansen was gorgeous in its own right). Our third would likely be Hawksnest which was our last beach to visit and where we waded in the neck high turquoise water – wishing it would not end!
