St. John BLEW me away, as did this villa I found, practically on the highest point of the island. So many people told me to stay in Cruz Bay and to not drive...but what did I do? What I do best - found the most epic 2 bedroom villa on the other side of the island.

Rental Car - https://www.bookajeep.com/ [You will ABSOLUTELY need to rent a car on this island. I would NOT recommend the rental car company I used because the desk woman was RUDE af and for that simple fact, go elsewhere].

Restaurants:
Morgan's [I got the lobster]
High Tide [Mahi Mahi & Lobster tail]
Longboard [I couldn't eat much but I got the tacos]

Beaches:
Maho Beach [clear paddleboards/kayaks & best food shack/bar]
Trunk Bay [top 4/5 beach in the world]
Cinnamon Bay [go to the right once you arrive at beach]

Private Boat Charter:
Fly Away

Grocery Stores:
Dolphin
Starfish [I preferred this one, seemed a bit cleaner/fresher foods, but either one is fine]

*Driving here can be scary if you are not a calm person by nature. I don't think I would have been a good passenger. Even though this is a US island, the driving is on the British side (opposite of what we're used to in the US). I did all the driving and even drove at night, and was totally fine. The roads are windy, lots of switch backs and some roads were very steep. If you drive slowly, you'll be totally fine. There was one road up to the villa (when you turn left out of the driveway) that I drove up once and refused to do again. There are other ways to get back up to the villa, without being totally out of the way. I just personally preferred a less steep road which wasn't a big deal. Going down it was a breeze LOL
