Have you faced persecution because of your faith in Jesus? Persecution is any kind of mistreatment or hostility. Acts chapter four is a historical record of the events after Peter heals the man born lame and his sermon afterward. This is the first recorded persecution of the church after the Holy Spirit is given at Pentecost.

More than that, it’s a template for believers to follow when persecution comes.

A study of Acts chapter 4 8-22 based on “Explore the Bible: Summer 2024” from Lifeway. This is the fifth lesson from Acts prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.
